Winners Announced

The Venice Area Chamber announced the 2011 Business of the Year Award Winners at their annual luncheon held on May 25th at the Plantation Golf & Country Club. Based on an intensive review of company policies, customer service, business plan and community involvement, the Chamber’s panel of judges deemed the following companies winners of the yearly competition.

From a field of 64 nominees for the 2011 Business of the Year Awards, the top five businesses have been named: Rocky’s Drywall, Inc., Puttin’ on the Ritz...Island Style, Keeton’s Office Supply Co., Inc., Infinite Legacy, and The Center of Hope. These five VACC members have stood out among the crowd in their superior customer service, dedication to the community, and vision for the future. The winning companies, as well as all of the 2011 nominees, were honored on May 25th at the Business of the Year Awards Luncheon held at the Plantation Golf & Country Club. Over 200 area business leaders attended the luncheon which featured keynote speaker Dr. Christopher Cortman, Psychologist & Author of ”Your Mind – An Owner’s Manual for a Better Life.”
