The recent hurricanes have left a significant impact on our beloved Venice area, causing widespread damage and disruption. Our hearts go out to all the businesses and community members who have been affected. We understand the challenges you are facing, and we want you to know that the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce is here to support you every step of the way.
In times like these, it’s crucial for us to come together as a community. The Chamber is committed to providing resources and assistance to help businesses recover and rebuild. Our Community’s Strength and Resilience
We are incredibly proud of how our community has come together in the aftermath of the hurricanes. The collaboration and support among our local businesses and residents have been truly inspiring. Many businesses have gone above and beyond, providing food, supplies, and other essential services to those in need. This spirit of cooperation and generosity has been a beacon of hope during these challenging times.
Introducing the Buy Local Campaign
To further aid in our community’s recovery, we are excited to launch the Buy Local Pays Back Campaign again this winter in collaboration with Venice MainStreet and the Venice Gondolier Sun. This initiative encourages everyone in the Venice area to support our local businesses, which are the backbone of our community. By shopping locally, you not only help businesses get back on their feet but also contribute to the overall economic recovery of our area.
Here’s how you can participate:
Shop Locally: Make purchases from local businesses within the zip codes 34223, 34229, 34275, 32485, 34293, and 34292.
Collect Receipts: For every $25 spent, you will receive an entry into our prize draw. Simply bring your receipts to the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce at 597 Tamiami Trail S. in front of Publix on the Island.
Win Big: Eight lucky winners will receive $500 each! Receipts must be from purchases made between Friday November 15th, 2025, through Friday December 13,2025. Receipts will be accepted from Monday, November 18th through Friday, December 13th, 2025.
Join Us Live: The winners will be announced on Monday morning, December 16th, at 9:00 AM on Venice Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook Live.
