At the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce, we believe that cultivating leadership at every level is essential to building a vibrant, thriving, and prosperous community.
That’s why we’re proud to offer three distinct leadership programs, each tailored to engage, educate, and empower individuals in our area.
All About Venice
This six-session series is designed for residents and those who want to better understand the heartbeat of our community. Sessions are held right here at the Chamber, each one-hour session offers a behind-the-scenes look at the organizations, initiatives, and people shaping Venice. It’s a perfect way for newcomers and longtime residents alike to deepen their connection to the place we all call home.
Teen Leadership Venice
Our youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow, they’re the changemakers of today. Teen Leadership Venice gives high school students the opportunity to explore local issues, through half day on-site field trips. Open to freshmen through seniors, this program encourages teens to become active participants in shaping their future and discovering the power of civic engagement. The new program year is just around the corner, and we are excited to welcome a new group of future leaders.
Leadership Venice
This flagship nine-month program is designed for current and emerging leaders who are ready to take a deeper dive into the challenges and opportunities facing our community. From February through October, participants meet once a month for full-day sessions that explore everything from local government, economic development, healthcare, education, and the environment.
Leadership Venice is more than just education, it’s about action. Each class selects and implements a community project, putting their collective knowledge and passion into practice. Participants come from diverse backgrounds and represent all corners of our community. What unites them is a shared commitment to civic responsibility and a desire to make a lasting impact.
