Each year, the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce undertakes a thoughtful and collaborative process to develop our Legislative Priorities designed to champion the needs of our business community and support the long-term vitality of our area.

In an effort to support local businesses during the traditionally slower summer months, the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce has launched a community wide “Buy Local” promotion running from July 1 through Sep. 30. Funded entirely by generous contributions from the Chamber’s Board of Directors who personally donated $3,000 to kickstart the initiative, the program is designed to encourage residents to buy locally and reward them for doing so.

As the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated its 100th year, 2025 is proving to be a milestone-packed, community- driven year.

With a mission to promote business growth and success while fostering a thriving, vibrant, and prosperous greater Venice area, the Chamber has hosted a series of impactful events bringing businesses and the community together.

Kicking off the year, the annual Non-Profit Rally showcased 50 organizations eager to connect with the public, seeking volunteers and partnerships in time, talent and treasure.

As another school year ends, the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce takes great pride in reflecting on the invaluable connections we’ve helped foster between our local businesses and the next generation of leaders. Through initiatives like our Real World program at Venice High School, we bring Chamber Member Businesses directly to students, allowing them to hear firsthand accounts of the many paths taken to success. These stories—full of unexpected turns and lessons learned—highlight the wealth of opportunity available right here in our hometown.

As we reflect on the past year, we are not just closing a chapter but celebrating a century of excellence, commitment, and growth. Our Chamber, founded nearly 100 years ago, has been a beacon for business growth and success, and it is with immense pride that we look back on our journey.
